Latest series was a collaboration with Makeup Artist and Model Himeros & Model Tay Atkins, shot in Oakland, CA. This shoot solidifies my first studio experience, and I'm not going to lie, it was challenging. If I could whisper in my own ear I would tell myself not to be afraid to make mistakes. Zoe, aka Successor Co, hit me up while I was in San Diego. All she said was "WHITE BACKDROP. BLACK AND WHITE. DANCE; FLUID MOVEMENTS. SLOW SHUTTER SPEED. WE WILL CAPTURE YOUR MOVEMENTS."
That's all I needed to know for the intentions of this next shoot. To show up in my rawest form.
As my journey as a model comes to
fruition, I become more comfortable in my body than I ever have before. The energy- from the clothes I'm wearing to the lightning before my eyes- I feel limitless.
Of course Solange's When I Get Home was the vibe.
